    I love how bold and rough this artwork is. The animal-like creatures are entangled with each other, forming and shaping out of each other’s limbs. It is so engaging, and it makes me want to look for the next face and character that I can recognize!

    About the Compositions Series

    The Compositions Series is a collection of conceptual studies where I give my hand-drawn, intuitive marks a larger and more open space to breathe. In my broader practice, I often weave small symbols, gestures, and hidden faces into dense fields of intricate detail. With this series, I wanted to strip back some of that density and leave more blank space on the paper, allowing each spontaneous line, face, and gesture to stand more on its own. For me, it is a study in simplicity, space, and visual balance.
